The Matchup Maven Program is for bloggers who create matchups. WeUseCoupons uses the Mortiz List Plugin found HERE, so if you are a Moritz user and want to share your lists with us, it’s super easy!! So how do you become a partner with WeUseCoupons?
#1 – Find a Store that we currently don’t cover. Most of the major big box and grocery stores will most likely be taken already. Find a local stores that you have a matchup for and contact us. Some stores that are listed may not yet have matchups. Remke Markets for example is a small chain located in Cincinnati. It has 17 stores and doubles coupons, stores like that would be excellent candidates. Even stores that are state specific like Dillon’s in Kansas would be good candidates.
#2 – Have a history with the store you are submitting to us. When submitting to become a partner, please have a history of matchups with that store. Please upon submitting your application give 3 links to past matchups. We simply want to establish that you do them!!

Benefits of Being a Matchup Maven?
#1 – We do NOT change any affiliate links. The affiliate links in the matchups will stay your own as long as you post the matchup. (We will give you a username and password and you will post them as yourself on our blog).
#2 – Traffic. We get hundreds of thousands of visitors! Our coupon forums are one of the most heavily trafficked on the internet. We will link at the top of the matchup to your site and do an author profile with your site button at the bottom of the post. We will also link our store forums to these matchups, to further increase exposure.
#3 – Occasional mentions on our Facebook and Twitter pages that currently have nearly 100,000 followers!
How it Works
If you are approved to become a Matchup Maven, the very first thing that will happen is that you will need to select a username for our blog. After that you will be able to log in and post your matchups. When you log-in, posting will be super easy, mainly because we will have a template set up for you. Watch this VIDEO to see how that process works.
Once you submit your matchup, it will not post to the WUC blog immediately, it will be ‘Pending Review’. We will have someone review them, to make sure spacing and astestics are fine and then we will publish the matchup. Once the matchup publishes on the blog, it will also automatically be published the store forum. This will happen via RSS and if you are a registered forum member, please provide us with your username. This is added exposure for you. (Our forums are some of the largest coupon forums on the internet!) What we Expect from Mavens
#1 – We want to first and foremost for you to be happy with our partnership!
#2 – We require you to carry our button on your site indicating you are a maven. Code for buttons is HERE. In return for carrying our button, your button will appear on our homepage under the partners areas.
#3 – We ask that you post the matchup yourself. This will ensure that you get your post out quickly. You will be given a username and password, and if you post it yourself, an author profile will appear under your post to further encourage people to visit your site. This also will allow you to ensure that if you desire to change the matchup slightly, for SEO purposes you can.
#4 – A FULL matchup. We are a collaborative site. We have tens of thousands of people that contribute to WeUseCoupons monthly. They expect the best! We need a FULL and COMPLETE matchup. Our readers and users will QUICKLY let you if they feel it’s not complete. We listen to our readers and users!
#5 Consistency. You MUST be consistent. Matchups must be completed and posted by the FIRST DAY of the sale cycle. We understand that life happens. But life can’t happen every week. Readers and user except matchups to be delivered timely and so do we! 
#6 Comment. Although not required, readers and users will have questions about your matchups inevitably. We encourage you to interact with them. This will build a relationship and your traffic will rise naturally and develop new relationships with new readers.
Partner Terms
If we except you as a partner, we will give you a one month trial period.
If users and members of our site are happy with your matchup’s we will continue the partnership.
Partners are evaluated every quarter, Jan 1, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st. If we feel the partnership isn’t working, we will re-evaluate it. Evaluations are internal, and generally you will receive no direct contact from us.
You are a partner can leave the partnership at any time, we ask that you simply give us at least 1 week notice.
NOTE: Please do NOT miss a week. We understand that you have a life and family. If you know you won’t be able to get the matchup for a week, please let us know!! If you do miss unannounced, we give a warning. We understand that life happens, but life can’t happen every other week.
