I love this super easy Spring Moss Rock Wreath!  It was so simple and I really like the way it turned out.  I saw a similar one at Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn or Anthropologie.  I can’t remember where I saw it ….and of course now I can’t find it again.  But, I remember thinking…..I can do that!   And I did!   And for 7 bucks!   ;)   Win WIN!

What you need:

  • Wreath form.  I bought mine at the Dollar Tree.  Cost = 1.00
  • Bag of loose moss.  Dollar Tree.  Cost = 1.00
  • Mossy rocks.  Dollar Tree.  Cost  = 1.00 each bag.  I bought 5 bags.
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks.  On hand.

Total = $7.00

What you do:

  • Glue the loose moss around the wreath form.  I pulled a clump of moss and started gluing and wrapping.  This is a messy process, but only takes about 10 minutes.  I did this part so that if I didn’t get the mossy rocks close together you wouldn’t see the wreath form beneath it.  I do like the way you can see the sprigs of moss sticking out from behind the rocks, though.  You could use ribbon instead, if you have some on hand.
  • Next, just glue the rocks to the moss.  You have to use a little bit more glue than usual for this…. since the loose moss is “loose”. :)
  • Done.  How easy was that?!
  • I like the way it looks on my mantle and on my door.  I can’t decide.  It’s so Spring-y!
