WeUseCoupons encourages everyone to pause and reflect in honor of our veterans and their sacrifices for our country.

In 1919, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11 as Armistice Day to honor the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War 1 on November 11, 1918 on the 11th hour, on the 11th day, in the 11th month of 1918.  In 1938, Armistice Day became a Federal Holiday. On June 1, 1954, Congress amended this holiday to celebrate ALL veterans and Armistice Day became Veterans Day.

WeUseCoupons wants to thank all those that have served and are currently serving in our Armed Forces. Nathan’s father (Lacy’s father-in-law) served as a United States Marine and Kim’s father served in the Coast Guard, her husband served in the United States Air Force, and her son is currently serving as a United States Marine.

For the families of those serving, we thank you for your sacrifices.
