Master List of Company Websites to Contact for Coupons

January 26th, 2012 · 1 Comment Facebook Twitter Pin It

Many people ask me, ‘How do I get good coupons like the people on TV’.  While there is no guarantee that you will get coupons, contacting manufacturers directly and asking for coupons is one great way of obtaining some high value coupons in many cases.  I posted this list a while ago in the forums and thought it would be a valuable list to post again!!  What I do is simple, I go through the manufacturers, send them a quick email, or contact them via phone.  I often will get great coupons doing this, even FREE product coupons.  It never hurts to ask!!  If you see a company that is not on this list, please add it, along with it’s website in the comments below!!

We encourage you to SHARE this list with other coupons on Facebook & Twitter!!

If you want more tips on how to contact companies or which companies might be giving free coupons away, head over to our Contacting Companies Forum!!

Savvy Saving

January 12th, 2012 · 0 Comments Facebook Twitter Pin It

Savvy Saving written by Melissa Jennings and Shelley King is, in my opinion, a GREAT book for couponers!!  If you are a beginner (or even a veteran) and want something that you can sit down and read cover to cover, this is it!!  This book is 129 pages of wisdom, common sense and practical coupon knowledge that will get you started in the your couponing journey!  I have been good friends with Melissa for years and I wholeheartedly recommend this book!!  I was even fortunate enough to interview them about it, see the video below.

The Perfect Time to Become a Couponer is NOW – New Years Resolution

December 31st, 2011 · 0 Comments Facebook Twitter Pin It

As the new year becomes reality, millions of people will make New Year’s resolution.  Some will resolve to lose the excess pounds gained in years past.  Some will resolve to become better parents, partners, spouses, other will resolve to get those ‘honey-do’ list items accomplished, and still others will just try to eat better.  But what I suggest as the most practical resolution is this: resolve to SAVE MONEY using coupons.

If you have never couponed, this is as good a time as any to start!!  New deals are happening every week, and you will be amazed at what you can get for FREE or cheap!  Couponing is what you make of it.  Some people have tried to clip those slips of paper in the past, but quickly give up because of a lack of system and real savings!  What I want to put forward is a NEW way to coupon!!  If you have never couponed before, resolve to try out our system for a month.  All we ask is that you visit WeUseCoupons or other coupon websites for just one month.

If you are already a couponer, click the share button on this article to share this with friends on Facebook!!

Try to put some time into intentionally saving.  What you will find is truly remarkable.  Within a month you will be saving around 25-40% on your groceries.  You will be starting a small stockpile of free items.  Why stockpile, well that’s easy.  Every family needs toothpaste, so when it’s free stock up, because why would you want to pay full price when it’s free or cheap today?!  After 3 months your grocery savings percentage should increase to around 50%!  If you want me to put a dollar amount on that, here it is: The average family in the United States spends around $4500 a year on groceries, or about $375 a month.  Imagine spending half that or only $187 and getting twice as much groceries!!  After a year, you would have saved over $2,000 to put towards debt, an amazing dream vacation, or simply save it for retirement!

Coupons will change the way you shop, I know this because nearly five years ago they changed my financial life! (watch video)  Resolve this year to start using coupons, I know it’s one resolution that will put money in the bank!

To learn more about how to start couponing, we encourage to read our Virtual Coupon Classes and watch our YouTube Videos about couponing!

Find Coupons in the Beer Aisle

October 31st, 2011 · 0 Comments Facebook Twitter Pin It

This article was written by Time2Save Workshops

Now, let me start by assuring you we are NOT suggesting you take up drinking, just because wandered into the aisle looking for tearpads ! What we are suggesting, is that you look in unlikely places for great coupons! You may not think that some of the best coupons can be found between the Old Milwaukee and Budweiser…. but you’d be wrong! The beer aisle is one of the first places I head to in the grocery/drugstores/gas stations to check for tearpads. While most of them are rebates for buying beer (or a beer + food combo) – there are often regular coupons that say specifically “No Beer Purchase Required”.

Isn’t that awesome?
My favorite “beerpad” of the year so far is the Pabst Blue Ribbon tearpad. It is good for $1 off ANY fresh or frozen pizza priced at $1.99 or more. That can make for GREAT deals during a BOGO sale, or paired with deals like the Bi-Lo pizza meal deals we see so often.

Another tearpad I just found this week was at a gas station down the road. It is good for $.59 off Lance Peanuts (Which are exactly $.59) And although Miller is depicted all over the coupon – it simply says “Compliments of Miller Lite”. That means FREE PEANUTS!
I hope you start taking a closer look at the “Beerpads” in your neck of the woods!
NO Beer Purchase Required Rebates:

Super-Cool Fact: Most beer rebates require you to purchase a certain amount of alcohol in addition to meat, soda, snacks, etc… However, in some lucky states (AL, AR, CT, HI, KY, ME, MD, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OK, UT and WV) you are not required to purchase beer in order to get the rebate. The law prohibits it. Which means, you can buy the item – and NOT the alcholol – and get money back!

Example of a Beer Rebate in a “lucky state”:
Purchase Heineken 12-Pack + $7 worth of Deli Meat – Get a $5 Rebate.
You are a lucky duck, and were buying deli meat anyway
Send in the rebate and your meat receipt
= Super cheap deli meat for you!

There are folks that save TONS using these beer rebates, they even look for them on Ebay! Our friend Kristen is one of these savvy shoppers in a lucky state, and she suggests searching the term “Beer Rebates” to find them.

Let us know if you find any good ones in your beer aisle!
