I cooked up 9 lbs of sloppy Joe's tonight--had some for our dinner as well. Tomorrow I have another 10 lbs of hamburger to use up so more sloppy joe since I have everything here already to make it. I am going to can it up in pint jars instead of freezing it because both of my freezers are full. I am hoping that next week I can buy 50 lbs of hambuger and use it all for sloppy joe's to be canned, that should give me a years worth. The hamburger is on sale fo 1.99 per pound so that would be 100.00 but I honestly don't need anything but milk and produce for the weekly groceries. Next after I get all this made I plan on doing a years worth of spg sauce as long as the Hamburger is still on sale the following week. Wish me luck...LOL!
