I use to leave IP's that I didn't need behind for others to use too but not anymore.
If I see any printed IP's left behind by another shopper I usually pick them up and destroy them. When Fred Meyer use to have their free coupon share basket every once in a while I'd find a few in the basket along other trash items and I'd toss them into the trash can that was next to the basket.
