Heck yeah, my DH does the same thing. When I was 6 months' pregnant, he and his cousin went about 40 minutes from the house to go look at tools (some new store had opened and it was their grand opening). They left at 7:30 in the morning and didn't get home until 8:00 that night. We had a huge fight about it. He didn't understand why I was so mad that he hadn't called. His logic was he would have called if something was wrong. Okay, you're both in the hospital unconscious.....would that have been the time you called? Now if he had told me he would be gone all day, then maybe I woudn't have worried so much. Men and women think about things differently, but to me, this is just common sense. Now when he goes away for the weekend hunting, he will call each night. So, he is getting better about it.
