The second way to earn it is by enrolling in the rx rewards program they offer and filling 10 prescriptions and using the card to pay. It actually is double dipping in this case as the cost of the rx goes to the $1000 spending and the purchase of 1 rx goes to the 10 you need to get. If we just get our 7 a month thats also $72 going to the spending.
The card has to be used to pay for your purchase when you use the pass. I am soooo sorry I forgot to include that. I will go back up and edit it. You cant pay w/ previously earned giftcards or use cash. That is one thing I dont like about it but really it is the only thing.
It only counts what is actually being paid for with the card towards the $1000 spending amount. Its after all coupons and say you pay half w/ giftcard half card only the card amount will go to the spending. So in the above example only $10 will go towards the spending as $10 was paid by a gift card.
Its when you use the pass that it helps to use couopns. the olay bars for example that are .97 you will get an additional .09 off plus using the $1 coupon adjusted for .97 so its like overage in a sense.
For us, like i said we get a couple a year due to our spending. We spend just shy of 900 a year in rx. The most we get are for the actual rx program we average at least 10 a year.
