One example, I had Eva in the Altoona PA store and I had purchased some canned cat food for my cat at $0.40 a can. I had a coupon for an indoor variety that was buy one get one free. Each of those cans were $0.60 cents each. Eva refused to give me $0.60 off because she said I had to take the value off the lesser can. I did not even have a coupon for the lesser cans, but Eva wanted to be the coupon police. I also had $4.00 off coupons for Nivea body wash and Eva refused to let me purchase more than 1 (I was there with 2 other adults). She insisted that one per purchase meant 1 per transaction. I told her it meant I could not purchase 5 widgets and expect to use that one coupon to get the amount off each product, but she preferred to hold the line up for a good 20 minutes, force employees to return my merchandise to the shelves, all in the name of my coupon fraud. CVS gladly accepted my coupons. That's what Eva didn't understand. I have a coupon, I am going to use it whether I use it at Walmart or elsewhere. She is only hurting Walmart's bottom line, not mine. Your employees (those like Eva) must think they work for the manufacturer of said products rather than the Walmart Corporation because they are losing you a lot of money every day of the week! If I didn't have good experiences and know your coupon policy, I probably wouldn't shop in another Walmart, ever. I honestly feel many of your cashiers need additional training. I have also had some wonderful experiences too and for the most part, they keep me coming back.
I have had all that happen to me as well, but not only did I have a cashier telling me but te manager agreed....I was also once asked if I left any for the other customers ?? I said " Excuse me ? " she said I just don't like to see the store being taken advantage of...My reply was this " Me ? Tanya Ford ? Mother of 6 at home ? is taking advantage of the huge conglomerate Walmart ? she knew she ( For lack of a better word ) angered me and shut her mouth. I had 18 more coupons for the product **Snuggle dryer sheets ** and I walked back, got them all and went straight to her line....and I gave her an inventory count...I said there are 2 left on the shelf.
Thats my story...I hate walmart.com
