Was just wondering if anyone was planning any scenarios for Fuel Perks this week? I looked over the ad a little and notice Starkist Tuna is going to be included.

I have tearpad coupons for $0.75/2 so I was thinking about stocking up a little on those. Anyone else see anything else or have any other plans?

I'm still trying to get the hang of the fuel perks so I can save at the pump!

Those tearpad coupons don't double for some odd reason just to let you know. It doesn't say DND but it won't come off at the register

My Bi-Lo only doubles up to $0.60, so I wasn't counting on them doubling anyways. Might not be the greatest price on the tuna, but I'll still get the $10 worth for the $0.15 fuel perks. I'll check the ad again today to see if there is anything else I want/need to get more fuel perks.

Also, do any of you Bi-Lo shoppers know if I can do the same deal more than once? I know the ad says Limit 1, but is that per shopping trip or does it track on your card and you can only do it ONCE? I know with the meal deals, it is once per shopping trip, I've done the deals multiple times in the past.

No problem! I wish they doubled higher, would be awesome! The only store we have around here that doubles up to $0.99 is Piggly Wiggly, and I think their prices are too high to begin with, so even with the doubling, it doesn't seem like I'm getting that great of a deal.

I am glad you guys are trying to keep this going. So if you did this:

8 Tuna Pouches = $10 - $3 (4 $.75/2 coupons) = $7 - $3 ($.15/gallon on 20 gallons) = $4, so $.50 each

The key here is if this deal is good for you. I think I have the math right, but someone should double check me.

I think $.50 for a pouch of Tuna is a decent deal. We use Tuna here, not TONS, but we will cook Tuna Helper, Tuna Salad, or hubby will put some Tuna on crackers, so the pouches WILL get used.

Also thinking about doing the cleaning supplies, as I need bleach and my stock is low on cleaning items. I'll have to check them out though and make sure they have items I'll actually use!

I'm definitely trying to keep this going, hoping others will eventually join in and maybe we can all help each other!

I just read on another blog that only the canned tuna is included not the pouches. I was planning on getting the pouches

Got my ad in the mail today. The 5 oz Chunk Light Tuna in water or oil ($.85 each) and the 5 oz Albacore Solid White Tuna (3/$5) are the cans. Everything else is the pouches.

So, I will be doing the Chunk Light Tuna in the pouch that is 4/$5

OK, a friend just told me that even tho the ad says Limit 1, as long as you do the fuel perks deal in separate transactions, you will get the fuel perks each time. That was one question I had about the fuel perks that I hadn't found an answer for yet, so glad to find that out.

So, with that being said...I have 12 of the $.75/2, so I will be doing THIS deal 3 times this week.

24 Tuna Pouches = $30
12 $.75/2 = -$9
Total OOP = $21
Fuel Perks Earned = $.45/gallon

So, is that $9 off 20 gallons? Not sure how to do the math there.
Which would then equal $12 or $.50 each?
