Imnewhere Coupon Organizing Ap

I have recently found an Ap for my IPhone(and IPad) that scans each of my coupons and keeps track of how many I have at all times of each one, expiration's and a "basic" savings total. When I started a few months ago I made a database linked with excel to keep up with it all and I find this ap is 10x's faster and accurate. When I go through the store or an ad now I just type the item I'm looking for to see if I have a coupon for it.

I organize my coupons 2 ways. Loose ones I get from friends and coworkers from trading I have a huge binder with tons of categories. I am focusing now more on whole inserts, as I take them apart page by page stapling like pages together then filing them in manila envelope under the date, paper source(I live on the NC/SC state line so I end up with two different inserts for each one that comes out (yes they are a little different) and magazine name to organize them.

This information auto-completes 95% of the time in my app so I can quickly see for example:

Oh Mitchum deodorant is on sale at CVS this week for 1.99, I type Mitchum and see there was a $1.00 off coupon in this past week's Smart Source and I have x amount of them, making them all .99 each.

At that point I will clip the coupons (all neatly stacked on top of one another) to the desired amount, Scan them in my ap and tell it I've used them and it updates my records.

I find this way faster as I was clipping my fingers to the bone to start with, as I make use of several computers for internet Qs as well when I know I can get a freebie or close to it. Any extras I print there also go in my binders and scanned.

What A Time Saver!!

Just the way I do it anyway

What a cool idea!! I have a small coupon organizer with coupons that I know I'll use, rainchecks and CVS Ecbs and I also have a milk crate type filing box where I keep all my uncut inserts filed by date and type (ss, rp, P&G and uncut IPs) in hanging file folders. How long have you been couponing? I love to get ideas on organization from other couponers. At first my coupon "office" was a mess and I used a binder until it became too much of a hassle (used to keep uncut inserts in it too) to lug around and file/take out expireds was a nightmare. Any apps like that for an android that you know of?

If I had $10 to spare I would do it! Would save me so much time and ink! I never remember what non inserts I have and end up printing coupons that I already have,

Yep coupon keeper 2. I paid 10 dollars initially for it and about 3 more dollars for more "scans". There is a free version to try out first but inly allows you to scan a handful of qs. Im just trying to find a way to better organize loose qs i get. The binder is sooo tedious moving sheets around to fit the right size qs and pulling expired weekly. None of that is necessary with the insert stack method i use.

I used to use a binder, but clipping coupons and keeping it up to date got to be too much work. Now I use the whole insert method and a coupon clutch. I keep the insert coupons for stuff I know I will buy and my printables plus ECBs and all the other coupon stuff in the clutch and the clutch stays in my purse.

What I would love is an application for my desktop that would allow me to scan each page of an insert or a printed coupon and it would store all the necessary coupon info in a searchable database. So I can open the application and search for Kelloggs coupons and all the ones I have come up. Or I can search for the SmartSource 1/1 insert and all the coupons in that insert come up.

Anyone think the Neat Desk system might do some of this?
