I was shopping at commissary today. I did not even make it half way through the store.

I was looking at the chicken. I spotted a new peelie coupon. The chicken was not marked on sale or anything. I was looking at the labels and noticed .47¢ per pound and .67¢ per pound. This is boneless skinless chicken I am talking about too!!!!!!! I seriously got over one cart packed full of chicken then had to come home and clean out my two deep freezers and inside freezer. It filled my large deep freezer (its all chicken now) and 1/2 of my smaller deep freezer.

Anyways, when I was almost finished looking over the chicken and telling everyone who walked by about this unadvertised, unmarked deal, a lady walks up to me. I seriously thought she was going to tell me that there was a limit on the chicken. NOPE. She said she was from Tyson corp. She was their vendor/rep. She said thanks for using your commissary benefit to save you money every day and that she was very appreciative I was telling everyone about this deal and that I was buying so much chicken. She also handed me a $25 commissary gift certificate. I was absolutely speechless. I was not expecting this.

OKAY I confess............I bought over 200 lbs of chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will last us a long while. I did not finish my shopping either today............oh well........I will just have to make another trip!!!

oh my!!!! I am hating I didn't hit the com today! yikes!!! 200lb of chicken?!?!?! At those prices!!!!!?????!!!!! wow. I just don't even know what to say! hahaha! I am in shock and awe!

Wow! I was thinking about going to the commissary on Friday. I only go once a month but I really want to use that woolite coupon before it expires! Now I have another reason to go==cheap chicken!
