Well, my name is Ruthie. My husband John is former Marines stationed at Camp Lejeune and is now Army reserves. We have visited Seymour Johnson AFB since it is the closest. We were hoping to do our paper products and meats there or maybe Havelock whenever possible. At least once a month. I know the Fort Bragg has 2 commissaries, but it is over 2 hours from our home.

Nice to meet you. My parents live in Greenville. We go there sometimes to visit them. Seymour Johnson does have VERY VERY cheap meat and produce.

We did get to North Commissary last week at Fort Bragg and it was really nice. I was wondering if anyone had experience with Cherry Point. It is a lot closer to me.

Hi! My name is Laurie and I am married to a Soldier boy! We are stationed at Ft. Stewart and Ashley introduced me to the site. I usually shop the Commissary and Kroger and walmart but am going to really try to get all the deals from all places Hopefully this works!!! We have one daughter and a dog

WOW. Am I glad I found this forum! It is so hard to find folks who shop at the commissary like myself online... This is welcome sight to see.

About us.. My husband is retired Navy with his last station before retirement at the Naval Station in Norfolk, VA.
He retired after 20 years as an ABH. We now reside in Delaware and have one son. My commissary is 45 min. away at the Dover Air Force Base, its where I go once a month to shop for our family.. I normally save around $50-$60 in coupons there each month. Dover Air Force Base commissary was just recently renovated and it looks awesome now.

I love Couponing, its one of the fun things I do.. All those years of my mom making us cut coupons for her when I was a kid really paid off... I am addicted now.. This is one addiction I don't mind having.

My friends ask me ALL the time.. why do you drive 45 minutes to go grocery shopping.. My reply is Always.. go with me once and you will see why. I have taken a few with me and they get it now... Couponing at the Base is cool and now that they have the new registers with the screen overhead its sweet seeing the total decrease and decrease.

Again, I want to say thank you for this great section on this forum, I will frequent often.. I am due for my monthly shopping trip next week so this find is right on time!
