I contacted Bumble Bee last fall and they sent me (4) $.35/1 coupons. They are the "makers" of Snows Clams. They used to put coupons in the inserts a couple of times a year, but there has been nothing for over two years. I would like to contact them again to ask for more since it's the new year, but I'm not sure if I'm requesting more too soon.
How often do you do a "rinse and repeat" contact with the same company? |

I would say it's about a 3-6 month wait between the latest contact to when you can successfully contact a company again. P&G allows coupon requests of a specific set once every specified quarter. I'm of the mind a six month wait may be your best bet since Bumblebee doesn't run the same kind of promotional campaigns as P&G.
I know, in general, you want to be careful about contacting the companies more often. I've read horror stories of some people getting cease and desist letters from companies they've contacted. That's extreme and a little ridiculous on the manufacturers' part, IMO, but the companies can get annoyed with repeated requests. I think that they assume your a reseller - something they don't particularly like. ![]() ![]() Co-Forum Leader for Dollar Stores and Forum Leader for Price Chopper - Midwest/Kansas City

I think I kept a record of when I sent the last email, so I'll make sure that I'm a little over 6 months out when I contact them again. |

I contact via telephone, not email and some companies will tell you upfront how often u may contact them. Btw, Bumble Bee was nicer to you, they sent me $.25 coupons:-)
