The WeUseCoupons Coupon Database is fairly straight forward. First you must find the database tab, on the navigation bar, located at the top of the page.


Once in the database you will see multiple options. We will discuss each option field, and what it can do for you!! You’ll also see buttons at the top of the database. If you need help, or need to contact someone, use the appropriate button!!


The first field we are going to discuss is the description field. This will probably be the most commonly used field, because if you’re looking for something like Tide, Keebler Cookies, or Water, you’ll type it in this field. So let’s go over how it works. The database is using smart type technology, and what that means, is that as you type the system will search for the word you are typing. For example, let’s type out the word “water.”


As you can see, I'm not finished typing the word “water”. I’ve only typed the first two letters, the ‘w’ and the ‘a’. But already it’s weeding out my results. Currently the database will only display words that have ‘wa’ in them. So you can see that SaltAire Nasal Wash, is being displayed, also with King’s Hawaiian Products. You also see Vitaminwater10 displayed. Let’s finish typing.


The database is now only showing items that have ‘water’ in them. It’s easy!

Now let’s move onto the search by UPC. This item is pretty obvious, type the UPC code into the search box, and see if a coupon matches. Because the UPC field isn’t required, often times you may not get a result, but make sure to pay attention to that field, if a coupon starts with a five, it most likely will double!!

The quantity and value fields are also very simple to use. The value field is referring to the face value of the coupon, and the quantity field is referring to the amount of products you must buy in order to redeem the coupon.

The origin search feature is another great new idea that has come to WUC!! You can now search by insert date!! If you would like to see all coupons, that are not expired, simply type in the date the insert came out, for example 06-28 (June 28th). All non-expired coupons will be displayed, see below!


The origin feature is also a very helpful tool in that it often will tell you where people found the coupon. You can see in the image below, some where found in the store, some in the mail, some in waiting rooms. This feature keeps you alert at the store!!


The Source Tab is also very a very useful tool. Let’s say you want to find all printable coupons in the database. Simply select ‘printable’ and only printable coupons will appear.
