Can someone clear something up for me? I read all the "lessons" and in them, the concept of using multiple coupons for an item was mentioned. Most coupons that I have seen all say "Limit one coupon per purchase" on them. Are you using multiple coupons for mulitple items? For instance, when you say something like, Use 2 .50 off coupons, does that imply that you're buying TWO items and using TWO coupons?
Sorry if that's a dumb question! Just trying to figure this stuff out ![]() |

If it a Manufacture coupon, it is One per Item, so if you have 2 coupons, then you should buy two items. BUT some stores, Like Foodlion, will take a Foodlion coupon and a Manf. coupon. I know Meijer is the same way.

Okay, thanks. I guess I just need to know the store's policy ahead of time then.

It is a GREAT idea to know the stores policy ahead of time on coupons so that you know if they double, triple, price match other store sales, use coupons from another store. This work in the beginning will save you alot in the end. for example, you have a store that will double say up to $.75 coupon and you have a product that is on sale and you have 2 coupons 1 for $.75 and one for $1 off you would want to use the $.75 to take the $1.50 off Also if you have 3 ads from stores that have sales on items that the store you are going to does not and they would price match well then you get the match, use your coupons, and saved time doing it all in one store (walmart is a good store that you could do this example with) I hope this helps |

Can anybody help with me with a tip on coupons?? I took my multiples to Meijer on Friday and was severely disappointed when they told me that I couldn't use multiples. What about Kroger? Any other stores that allow multiple coupons???

It varies from area to area even in the same city. It really is best to call your stores around you and ask them 1) do they double, if so up to what face value they will double and how many they will double. 2) how many of the same coupons you can use in the same transaction 3)if they take internet coupons and if so are there any limits set by the store as to how many per transaction and value limitations. Also check their websites for the stores coupon policy and alot of people like to bring a copy with them incase they have problems when it comes to check out. One store 10 minutes north may only take 5 of the same and only double 10 coupons in total another one 20 minutes away might double unlimited and take unlimited of the same coupon. Best thing is check w/ your local stores and keep a record of it so you know what you can do for each store and each trip so you can plan accordingly. Hope that helps
