Default Answered: Do you all purchase full inserts?

I've been doing this for a while now and I always end up with SO many unused coupons. I mean, I know everyone does but I have huge amounts because we only purchase healthy foods (for the most part) and I don't have or want a huge stockpile because my house is too small.

So I've been wondering for a while if I should just take my chances and stop buying full inserts and, instead, try to get all the coupons I need on Ebay, Coupon Clippers, etc. I know that I'll occasionally miss out on a really good deal or two but I can't help but wonder if I'll make up the difference in time and money saved.

Can someone more experienced give me some advice? TIA

Tammi

I've done it both ways and I would say that if you're requirements are for very specific types of q's then I think it would be better to look for exactly what you need rather than the full inserts. The whole inserts are really good if you can clip most and use them for trades and RAOK's but not everyone has the time, inclination or organizational skills to do that.

I've always had great luck with thecouponclippers and would recommend that you try there.

Thank you, that's kind of what I was thinking was best but it's reassuring to get a trusted opinion. Have a great 4th!

I used to buy extra papers when their were good q's I would need. But the last few months I have been buying from coupon clippers or coupons by dede just specific q's and have had great experience with both.

I do it both ways. If it hot coupons I buy whole inserts and a lot of them but if it a bad week and only a few coupons I know I would use then I just buy those coupons.
With you only buying Health foods then I thinking it would be cheaper to buy the coupons you need not the whole inserts.

I believe in Santa!

Well, you guys have definitely help me decide. I just needed to feel good about my decision and now I do. Now, what stinks is I KNOW that as soon as I don't buy inserts one week I'm going to miss out on a totally awesome deal because I won't be able to find coupons for it but I need to stop worrying about catching every deal anyway because it's driving me MAD!

Thanks you guys!

I am brand new at this but just a thought I had in reading your post... Maybe just buy one set of inserts so you have some you can use and some you can trade and then use the other options (ie e-bay etc) to get your more specifics..
Happy Saving
