Well, with drugstores it's very easy to get frees. Now, at first you may have to lay out an initial investment, but after that with Wags you can 'roll' the register rewards into things the following week that will not only not cost you anything out of pocket, but earn more rr's, same thing with CVS and it's ECB program.
Grocery stores are different in every area. For example where I'm at, I have 2 different stores that will double coupons every day up to .99, and occasionally triple them. Matching coupons to BOGO sales many times will make items free too. Be sure to check the matchups done in the store forums for those near you! And ask any and all questions in there too for each particular store. We have a lot of people here with years of couponing experience that will be happy to show you the ropes! Every single one of us had to learn the ropes just like you're doing when we started ![]() And WELCOME TO WUC!!!!! ![]() |

I am still learning, but I can tell you that just recently after about 6 months of couponing I am getting things free or close to it.
When you first start out it is hard to learn all of the terms, but before long you will understand it all. And you will find your own 'groove' what works for some may not work for you. But try to keep your coupons organized! That is one of the biggest things I learned right on. Keep checking the treads of the stores that are near you, keep a notebook by your computer so that you can jot down anything that you would like to do too. And ask questions! I must have asked sooooooo many! I still do ![]() Before long you will be posting pictures of your stockpile of things you got for free! One thing I did when first starting out was to follow the scenarios the more experienced couponers posted in the threads to the letter. Even if I didn't need one or two things in the scenario, I bought it anyway.
After a dozen or so transactions, I started to understand how exactly they were doing it, and how I could "see" these transactions on my own at other stores. Now, a year and 1/2 later, I am comfortable looking at a circular and seeing opportunities. As was stated earlier, also make sure to organize those coupons! You can't use what you don't know you have! Good luck, and keep asking questions! Superfresh and Shopper's Forum Leader
