She is saying that she can use both of those coupons because one is a Family Dollar coupon and the other a man. coupon. However, if you look closely, they are both man. coupons with one saying redeemable at Family Dollar. It does not say ONLY at Family Dollar so the saying on the coupon is only a suggestion. We all know that it is one man. coupon and one store coupon per item at Family Dollar. I feel she was in the wrong with her coupon useage and complaint.

Well, not only that they are both manufacturer's coupons, but the title is couponing troubles at dollar tree uuugghhh. ???

Being ignorant of policy is understandable when you're new at this, but if you're going to do this seriously and get into confrontations at the register over coupons, do your homework and have your ducks in a row when you do it.

Yeah, she needs to learn what a store coupon is and what a manufacturer coupon is.....

It is very clear on the IP she used that it is a mfr Q, not an FD store coupon. Therefore, she has no basis for her complaint and in fact, she owes the store manager an apology for saying they do not know/understand their own policy when it is simple to understand.

While I realize there are store coupons like those in drugstores that have vague terms where they make it appear their SQs are also MQs and therefore, some branches refuse stacking of these Qs for more discounts.

Couponers ought to remember that SQs do NOT usually have a remit address while all MQs. do. While there are MQs that says Valid ONLY at xxxx or OFFER valid ONLY at xxxx, even if they are mfr coupons, this means they can only be used @ specific retailer it is valid.

She needs to be told the truth because she has probably done this before.

It depends on her personality whether she is willing to accept she is wrong.

There are people who will not admit they are wrong even if presented with all the facts. Problems arise when people like those insists they are correct and demand for their "rights". As mentioned, unfortunately, this kind of couponers give a bad rep to all couponers. arghh..
