Do different papers have different coupons???? I usually get a local county newspaper and I was highly irked this Sunday when there were no glade q's in any of my smartsource inserts.. My moms coworker gave me her inserts when she was done with them and omg there were glade q's!!! I looked at the insert and it was from the philadelphia inquirer. (not the paper I buy). so whats the deal with that!! thanks for any info!!!

I can pick up a Chattanooga Times paper on Sunday and then dh can grab me a few of the Knoxville leftover Sunday papers early on Monday mornings and there are not only different coupons but sometime the same item q but a different cents off amount.

I know they vary from regions across the US

But they also vary in the same regions. I get both the St Paul & Minneapolis papers and the coupons are similar - but there's always differences.

Yes, it happens My parents live in NJ and seem to get the coupons for higher values than we get down here in TX. But, often I will get the smaller qs that will double / triple.

I see that you are in NJ, too - do you ever get the Star-Ledger? It usually has pretty decent coupons.

GET THE PHILADELPHIA PAPER!!!! totally worth it. I dont think it costs more than I am assuming the burlington county times... Its been a couple years so i cant remember exactly but it always was a better paper. There are 4 different local papers here none of which have super good coupons but there are some that are much better. And i cant remember where but I saw a thing online that could tell you which papers normally get which inserts...The paper I always bought stopped with the redplum inserts...BOOOO so I stopped buying it but their smartsource coupons are SOOO much better then the ones around here. So when I get these free from my gas station it kicks butt!

There are 3 papers delivered to my area and all three have different q's. The local paper I get mainly for the ads (I have one delivered) because it has about 1/5 of the q's in it and then I get 3 of The Sacramento Bee and 3 San Franscico Chronicle. Both have really good q's. Sometimes it's like Foggy said, it can be the same q but one is $1/1 and the other has $1/2.

Especially around here! our stores if they double only double up to 50 cents so its frustrating when i get the .55 off one. That doesnt do me much good. yeah 5 cents is 5 cents but i would do better with the .50/1 so i can double it. It never ceases to amaze me the difference. I end up having to separate my inserts that I am not cutting into a million different file folders because each one is so different.
