my cvs (melrose MA) had a sign - buy 3 hallmark cards (valued at 2.49 or higher) and get $3 ECB.

i bought 3 cards at .99 each and 3 at 1.29 each = 6.84 before tax and got the $3 ECB printout anyway. the printout must trigger at a lower amount (or, at 3 hallmark products).

Ok< I'm in dire need of Sunscreen. Would Sunscreen be considered in this deal? I wish the coupon machine would state which items are part of what deals during the week. All the machine needs to say is "this is is part of the spend $15 Get $5 ECB wyb CVS Cosmetics" would make my shopping trip so much more fun!

-OR- if somewhere on WUC there's a listing of items eligible for certain deals?

Anyway, just wondering if Sunscreen is included. I'm thinking skin care, but all the pics of skincare in the ads are of aging treatments, etc..

I've read on here that some have gotten the ECB on sunscreen, that some stores have the tags up for it also.

Also what do you mean when you ask if there is somewhere on WUC that has a list of items eligible for certain deals?

Oh, sorry to confuse... I guess I was thinking more of a running tally of items that were directly involved with the Buy $15 of CVS Beauty Products get $5 ECBs.

In the ad is states CVS Cosmetics, Skin Care etc...I haven't seen any cosmetics items with CVS logos (like mascara, nail polish, bronzers etc). I think I have seen CVS "chapstick" but I can only buy so much chapstick.

And then the Sunscreen bit...I wasn't sure if I bought CVS branded Sunscreen if it would qualify towards my spend $15 get back $5 ECB this weeks deal. I need $11 more to qualify this week and thought sunscreen would complete the deal.

I'll just try it and see if the $5 ECB prints out, I'm heading to CVS in the morning.

Oh ok, gotcha! Yeah, unfortunately we don't have a complete list, there is just too many LOL I've seen tags all over the store for this deal!

It should print, but if it doesn't, you could call customer service and see if they will be able to help out since it would fall under "skin care".
