Can you use Food Stamps to pay for food items that give ECB? I thought I read that someone on here did this.... If so, I hope this helps someone.l

Yes you can use the food stamps for the food items and they will produce the Ecbs. But if you use coupons w/ those items remember you might owe tax on the coupons value. Weird how that works.

yes you definitely can. however be careful. my CVS and walgreens computurs/registers have issues with food stamp cards. and they tend to take the WHOLE amount including money for things that are NOT food off your total. so you need to be careful this doesnt happen with your stores. if you do it once or twice on accident that is one thing but if people "abuse" this glitch they will lose thier foodstamps. not a good thing.

you can use your food stamps combined with coupons even to sweeten the deal and get back ECBS that are good on anything like any other ECBs.(antyhing but the usual no nos)
