According to corporate Target Changed their Coupon Policy!! I went to 3 different target stores in my area the managers said I can only use 1 COUPON! I figure they were being *****s and called guest relations only to have them tell me that from now on every store manager can make up their own policy in order to prevent fraud.
How can an individual overwrite corporate policy? If they are going to do that, then they should post it in their website, because what they are doing is fraud and deceptive lying to customers that ALL Targets need to follow this policy...so mad because I spend so much time only to get to the register and only be able to use 1 coupon. Has anyone experience thsi before? |

I went to target today and was able to use 4 like coupons without a problem.

I have had no problems but I did speak with one cashier who said they have had a lady misusing coupons on items she did not purchase. I was so sad to hear that.

This is one of the things that bugs me with most stores. They post a coupon policy online but then say the manager can make changes at their discretion. Why bother having a policy if any store can change it at their whim? Just makes no sense to me and makes it more difficult to plan trips.

I wish Target had their policy in PLAIN site. I think ALL stores need to have this. Maybe post them at the doors and even at each register.
It's all for the great good of helping educate their customers. As for my Target, last summer I couldn't use more than 1 "like" Target coupon in the same transaction. Now...they must have changed the policy because they just scan them on through. No beeps, everything goes through smoothly. Now, are we talking MQs or TQs??? To my knowledge, there is no official change. Corporate has always left it up to each individual store and manager to make decisions and calls on coupons. Most chains allow final decisions to be determined by the store manager.

i just got home from target .. i used 5 coupons .. bought two mio's 2 mq and 2 tq and one purex crystals .. 1 mq .. on it .. i think your CSR was having a bad day.

Managers NEED discretion over corporate's coupon policy. Unfortunately, there are those people that make things more difficult for the rest of us.
If it's an issue, perhaps talking over your transaction with the store manager so that he is comfortable with your coupons. I personally just try to avoid Target the best I can when using coupons. I don't get overage and find better deals elsewhere. |
