I went to Target tonight to get the Axe deal buy 4 get a $5 GC. I grabbed 2 body wash and 2 deodorant. When I got to the register the GC didn't come up. I asked the cashier why. She said the body wash was part of the offer, but the deodorant was not. I sucked it up and paid. I got thinking that something wasn't right. I sent my daughter back to look. She brough me two body sprays and said they were what was part of the deal not the deodorant. So I got my coupons back from the cashier and went to guest services. The woman there refunded my money and started ringing up the two body wash and the two body sprays. Then she tells me the body wash isn't part of the offer. Now, the cashier just told me the opposite. That the body wash was part of the deal.
Can someone please explain this to me? What went wrong? Do I have to get all four the same as in four body wash or four body sprays in order for this deal to work? I'm terribly confused.

you should be able to mix and match as long as they all fall under the same GC deal. If it does not work I would go show them the tag. They can give you a $5 GC or may just give you $5 cash. Target is pretty good about following their signs and will also help you understand what is going on.

Hmmmm...not sure what went wrong with your trip. They should have double checked their signs for you. I got 2 bodywashes for 3.49 and 2 deodorants for 3.99 and the register prompted a GC.

i don't see advertise deal on axe products is this on their shelf only? when does the sale ends

Well I got 2 bodysprays and 2 shower gels but I had to go to customer service because only a few select scents of the bodyspray were part of the deal. Very confusing but I got my GC. I told them bring me what was part of the deal and I chose the ones I wanted lol. Hope this helps.
