Kids snacks for Kindergarten Class
I'm looking for some good deals on kids snacks. My daughter's class has snack daily - -- as long as parents have sent in snacks. Need to be shelf stable so the teacher can store and hand out daily. Ideas?

I would check Halloween leftovers for individual pretzels, animal crackers, and raisins. Does it have to be individually wrapped or can it come out of a bigger bag?

I always send in fruit snacks you can get the welches 20 packs at wal-mart for under $4.00 and with 2 kindergartners I know they love them. I actually bought a box tonight because my DS has his snack day on Monday and that is what he asked to take. Hope that helps.

the huge box of goldfish crackers,boxes of raisins, does it have to be individually wrapped? Otherwise you could do boxes of cookies or animal crackers. some school want healthy snacks and believe it or not that makes it harder
 If you know or talk to the teacher you could bring in grapes on the right day fresh or something like that   and Ella  are my

Thanks for all the suggestions. The teacher has not been picky and it can come right out of the box. My daughter was out a week with pneumonia and the day she went back she told me they didnt have snack because there was no more in the cupboard! You know I was just heartbroken. The next day several parents sent in snacks. I just dont want this to happen again so I'm looking for a good deal to stock up. Thanks again!

I am so glad you posted this- I was about to post the same thing.
I sent in a bag of 30 snyder's pretzels from halloween I got 75 percent off. It was gone in 1 week. It breaks my heart that so many kids are going hungry at snack...they eat lunch at 1047...they need a snack before 3 pm! I have 2 more bags of pretzels but after that I am going to get creative. Are there any awesome coupons out there for granola bars, pretzels, or any other snack type things?

Do you have an Aldi? Their crackers, pretzels, etc are good & lower price than just about anywhere!
Fruitsnacks - I stock up when I can get them for less than $1/box, so I have them on hand. Cereal - I have a large stockpile that I've paid less than .50 a box for

There was a $1/1 nabisco item coupon that came out in the inserts a couple of weeks ago. I have been stocking up. There are a lot of deals to get with that coupon.
