Office Depot used to offer free ream of recycled white paper (500 sheet pack) for turning in used ink cartridges. Last time I tried they were offering a $1.00 off your purchase or similar as an option. I have not been recently to turn in old ink cartridges, so I don't now if they are still doing so.
You can only exchange one per visit per person. Originally we could exchange several. So now my kids each bring one cartridge in with me and we leave with several packs if I have more than one used cartridge.
