My 4 y/o Artist ~ Non-Messy Art Toys?
My 4-year-old daughter is very artistic, she loves to draw, paint, etc all the time but her 2 year old little brother loves to make a mess with the stuff. My mom got my daughter an Elmer's Mess-Free Go Paint! paint book that seems to be working out pretty well. What other mess-free products like this are there that parents can recommend to me as Christmas gifts please? I don't want to waste her talent because her brother is a pest!

Color wonder has saved our walls!! I have an almost 5 yr old that loves doing arts and crafts but an almost 3 yr old that loves getting into everything. It can be kinda expensive for replacement paper since it only shows up on certain paper but the finger paints were a hit here. I love that stuff.

OMG Color Wonder is the best..LOL the glow paint toy looks pretty nice, but we've used a little of everything else and enjoyed it all...my couch and carpet love it too...especially since the couch is less than a year old...

I don't know of anything besides the Color Wonder either, but I have to ditto the other posters! Great stuff! Maybe consider things like a Magnadoodle or Crayola Glow Station or Glow Board. Also, I know it wouldn't be for a present, but if you ever let her on the computer, my kids always liked just playing on the Paint program that comes on the computer
 . They can create all kinds of "masterpieces" on there!

Aquadoodle stuff is nice too. DD doesn't have any, but one of my friend's kids do. I wanted to get the wall mat from TRU online yesterday(bf) but they were out of stock. It was on sale for $10, not sure what the regular price is like.

Color Wonder is not completely Mess Free. I have a dark brown leather ottoman from Ashley furniture that my 2 y/o artist used a red color wonder on and it shows up. You have to see it in light to tell, but I notice it every time of course!
We do aquadoodle. We also do sidewalk chalk. A chalkboard in her room would be good because even if he does make a mess, it's just a quick wipe up. I don't do Color Wonder anymore b/c of that...we save the coloring for when everybody is at the table or school/church class. I totally got my fill of art everywhere. I have had to repaint certain areas several times and I'm sick of it. I had a breakdown crying when he colored on his quilt made by a deceased relative with SHARPIE. Luckily I got most of that out with acetone. Anybody feel free to PM me with stain advice because I have cleaned it ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Ditto to Magnadoodle!!! All three of my kids have 2 each - a big for home and a small for long trips. I didn't set out to get them 2 each but it ended up that way with "free in package" deals and whatnot. They use them ALL and they love them to death. My husband and I just discussed last week or so how it has been one of the few toys we bought multiples of that we still got every penny of use out of. Brother sounds like he could use one for sure!
