I always stock up when meat is on sale, then come home, repackage it and freeze it!

I do this all the time too. I think it's safe as long as you freeze it right away. I worked at WD for over 7 years and have never had a problem with it. I love to cook frozen chicken!!

Ditto, I had tons and tons of the chicken from FL last year that I refroze once I got home, no problem ever with it

I always will leave mine in the package, wrap in saran wrap and then put in a ziploc bag (overkill I know). Write on the outside of the bag what it is and the date you put it in the freezer. I have never had a problem using frozen meat. Just be sure to use it up within a few months.
My grandmother keeps telling the story of how she went to visit some relative of hers that served them turkey for dinner and kept boasting how the turkey had been in the freezer for ten years. My grandpa gagged at the thought of eating ten year old turkey and would never let her buy a freezer because of that experience.

Also here is what I do, If I need to go to town I go around 8:30pm-9pm. I hit KMart and Kroger, they mark their Bakery Cooked chicken down to a 1.00!! I buy as many as I can, I go home and pick all the meat off and freeze it, I use it for Chicken and noodles, Chicken and Dumplings, etc...I have never gotten sick, its a very inexpensive way to make meals.
Also I run by the deli every so often they bag up left over deli meat and sell it for under a 1.00

Freezing sour cream
Has anyone ever tried freezing sour cream before? Any tips or no no's to it???

It doesn't freeze well at all. it separates and then when it's thawed, it's grainy looking and tastes nasty.
