Feeling pretty good about my Dillons trip!
I went to Dillons tonight to pick up some free toothpaste and Dr. Pepper 10 and check out the unadvertised deals. Here's what I got...
6- Huggies wipes $1.99(ea.) 6- Dr. Pepper 10 2-liter $1.25(ea.) 4- Crest Toothpaste $1(ea.) 6- GUM Crayola Kids Toothbrushes $1(ea.) 1- French's Fried Onions $2.99(ea.) 1- Wonderful Pistachios $3.99(ea.) Q's used: 6- $.50/1 Huggies Wipes 6- FREE Dr. Pepper 10 4- $.75/1 Crest Toothpaste 6- $.55/1 GUM Product 1- $1/1 French's Fried Onions 1- $1/1 Wonderful Pistachios Total OOP $12.69, saved $51.91 (store discounts AND Q's), 83% savings!!! After checkout, a catalina printed for $.50/1 Sprite or Sprite Zero 2-liter. I had a craving for pistachios so I splurged on that one.  Only thing I questioned was the French's Fried Onions...Is $1.99 for a big can a good deal or could I have gotten it cheaper? I was thinking ahead for Thanksgiving green bean casserole.

Nice trip! I think that you did great! I don't know anything about the Frenchs onion b/c I don't buy 'em.

I'm thinking that for now 1.99 is a good price for the french onions, but I'm wondering if there will be says for them coming up between now and Thanksgiving. Great Job on the trip!

French's Onions are AWESOME! Sometimes I eat them like chips ... boy, I have a dragon breath the next day but totally worth it! YUMMY!
I also use French's Fried Onions for cooking stews. When I run the crock pot in the morning I don't want to saut'ee onions because our clothes will smell ... so I use them instead of regular sautee onions ... they work great! Quote:

thanks. I can't remember where that gum coupon came from, but I have a couple. There is also an ecoupon on savingstar that makes it a money maker, so I am on my way to dillon's. Hope those tooth brushes are on sale in Wichita.
