I'm glad to know I am not the only person who has issues with Dollar General. Went today to use my $5.00 off $25.00 Q from the register. Took me 2 hours to come up with a list of what I could get, had coupons in hand, guess what I came home with?
Renuzit-2.00 Q-$1.00 (Internet printable expires 3-30(I think))
2 Treats for the dog- no Q 1.00each
candy bar .85
gum- .85
Act 2-1.00 Q-.50 expires 4-29
Total paid- 5.55 saved 1.50 UGGGGGGGG!!

First of all, they had nothing left that I went in for. I wanted to get the Gain fabric softeners, Pillsbury Cresent Rolls(they don't carry), Oscar Meyer Deli Creations (out),2 boxes of the cubed Kleenex (didn't have) and Nivea Body Wash, but the size they had was the wrong one. Then I was going pick up toliet paper to get me up to $25.00, but needless to say since they had nothing else I needed, I didn't use my coupon for the $5.00 off $25.00.

I haven't got to the good part yet, the last time I shopped there, I had tons of coupons and the cashier was a real witch! Had her again today and I only had 2 Q's that I was using today, the one for the Act 2 popcorn went through fine, the other for the Renuzit, it didn't want to go through and she has to manually input it! She didn't know how so one of the employees that was behind me in line had to help her.

I think I am done with Dollar General, I just have wayyyy to many problems when I go in there! I'll be sticking to Walgreen, CVS and my local grocery store Strack and VanTils! I get the best deals there anyway.

Sorry you had problems don't give up. I go in there on occasions just to see what can be found, no worries if I miss a few others will follow
