I ran into Dollar General to see what their clearance looks like. They have some things marked down to 25%, and some at 50%. Of course, as time goes on it should get marked lower, but by then there probably won’t be much left! Don’t forget you can use coupons on clearance items, too.

The rest of the stuff on clearance was 50% off. Those were decorations, wrapping paper, ornaments and other stuff. This is the time of year I do all my new decoration shopping. Then it gets packed up with the old stuff and when I pull it out next year it feels brand new! I just can’t buy stuff when it’s full price knowing that in 30 days it will be half that.  So, think about it!  Now is a great time to stock up on Christmas craft ornaments and anything else you think you will use next year.  Tags, bows, wrapping paper, gift card holders…

Great deals! I went to DG yesterday and snagged some santa christmas stocking hangers ( the kind you put on your fireplace mantle) originally $6.00 got them for $3.00!!!!! I had my eye on these and there were only 3 left. Perfect for me cuz I needed 3 for my grand babies I agree with you DollarStoreDeals... I can't pay full price when in 30 days it will be 1/2 price!
