Uhhh my real goal this week - Chicken Broth it's on sale ... and to get the broth, I kinda see myself getting some more Herbal Essences.
Thank you for the tip, I was going to use ramen, I think I will get some broth too, we need those as well.

Check out Rite Aid this week, cheap reach toothbrushes. I can't figure out how to link to the thread from my mobile, but it's in the RA forum this week (in matchups, and it has it's own thread). It just hasn't gotten tons of notice bc no Couponer wants *cheap* reach, we want *free* reach lol! But it'll def do in a pinch!

If you can't find them for free, just look for the very best sale between now and the time when you have to have them and only buy (2). Hopefully that will tide you over until you can stockpile a few for free.

My mom said that several years ago, trash bags of all sizes were free all the time. She would look at the ads and think, "Free trash bags....AGAIN!!" But eventually the trash bag freebies stopped and she ran out a lot sooner than she thought she would, wishing that she had stockpiled more while she had had the opportunity to do so. So it seems as though some products will eventually totally fall off the freebie list entirely.

Shampoo, conditioners, and stylers is another odd one. For two or three years it seemed as though we could get them for free all the time. Then there was a fairly long lull where there were no shampoo freebies (in my area anyway). Then all of a sudden Pantene was free. Shortly thereafter Dove was free. Then CVS offered a $2/1 any shampoo CRT (generic) which offered a smorgasbord of opportunities to get free shampoo and even overage if you used the coupons to buy VO5 (which I use as liquid hand soap). Having seen the previous lag, I didn't take those freebies for granted and stockpiled all that I could based on the coupons I had and the limits imposed by the retailer.

Another good example is the Gillette Fusion series of razors. They used to be a pretty decent MM almost every month...month after month after month. Gradually the Fusion deals became less and less lucrative until one month they were "only" free (after coupon and reward). I happened to have (19) Fusion coupons that month and second guessed whether or not I should buy them, since I had so many "for profit" Fusion razors in my stockpile. Eventually I decided that since they were non-perishable, it couldn't really "hurt" to buy them (besides having to put out OOP for sales tax) and I used all (19) coupons. That is the last time that I can remember them being completely free after sale, coupon, and reward.

So some things will continue to be free occasionally and some things will completely drop off the list of items that you can get for free. The problem is that no one knows one from the other.

Thank you for the thorough reply! Hopefully I will be able to get some good toothbrush deals. I see some clearance at times, but they are always emptied out Anyways, there's always hope!

Watch RiteAid. I got 8 Arm & Hammer spinbrushes for $1.37 each a few weeks ago. (Regularly $9.48 each) I try to always keep A & H coupons when available, because RA has a "BOGO deal + $10 UP off 20" on A & H on a regular basis.

My favorite toothpaste is A & H. It's $5.50 a tube, but on that deal I get it for 50 cents or less a tube, depending on how good the coupons are.

Funny enough when I started couponing (over a year ago), my first 'free' (paid tax) items were toothpaste and they weren't from a drug store, but a grocery store called Farm Fresh. They double coupons and had a deal of 2 for 2.00. I had 1.00 off of 2, so = free toothpaste. Although I love my Riteaid/CVS/Walgreens shopping trips, I find myself getting free items from the grocery stores just as much as the drug stores. Good luck in your purchases and don't forget to check your local grocery stores for deals too

The almost-free razors are at CVS this week.

If you're planning to go the the movies, you can get Schick disposables at RiteAid, buy 2/get a free movie ticket. I'm paying for the Hobbit with razors, or vice versa.

I'd keep an eye on Kroger`s deals if you have one. They put toothbrushes on 10/$10s and 1·Xxx all the time. That's where I've picked mine for free or cheap lately. Hths!
