Question about Razors/toothbrushes trend from a nooblet
I only been couponing for about 2 months. Yes... the stupid show is what got me into it. I try to follow all the rules, and I don't clear shelves. I am not greedy and don't want a bedroom full of noodle soup... I picked up couponing to just save a little in our day to day life. I have every intention to be a good couponer
 When I first looked into couponing, people say that they basically don't pay for toothpaste/brushes. Somehow I am picking up a lot of money marker/free razors than anything else. Free toothpaste is a lot less frequent and free toothbrush almost never happens for me. I am wondering if some seasoned couponers can tell me if this razor trend will stick around? Or is it only for the season? Perhaps toothbrush season will come up at some point? or has manufacturers made that impossible already. Just the last 2 months, I am able to get enough razors to last my us a whole year (possibly even longer). Any input you can give would be great Thank you for reading

Enjoy the free razors while you can. Everything seems to run in cycles The free toothpaste and toothbrushes will come around soon I have no doubt. I have a nice stockpile of both men's and ladies razors so I won't be buying any for quite a long time most likely not again until they are free or darn close to free.

Yes, it seems the deals happen in their own sequence. Toothpaste and brushes are easy to get free or nearly free, especially if you shop drugstores like CVS who offer ECBs on their items. It takes awhile to get a good stockpile going, so keep it up!

I started couponing on December of last year. By February I had a stockpile of toothpaste and toothbrushes. It seemed like medicine, toothpaste and toothbrushes were the thing last winter. Hope it comes again because I shared a big portion of my stash. Lol

Like the previous post all items have a cycle. The way most people get there toothbrushes and toothpaste free is by shopping at drugstores where you get register rewards,Extra care bucks etc. For example Crest toothbrush 2.99 you have coupon for 1.00 off and the Extra care bucks is $2 its free because you get the $2 dollars back. Everyone has there favor place to shop so start by picking one place that is near you and gives you the most for your money. Hope that helps.

Like the previous posters have mentioned - everything is in it's time
 I was just straightening out my stockpile  I have a few toothbrushes (free and HUGE MM during Summer2011  ), and will only get more if it's a MM now, or I need to roll RRs / ecb's.Toothhpaste, OMG - my mom doesn't think 15+ tubes is enough  I got a mere (2) tubes last week during F&F @ Wags (small MM) ... Shampoo / Conditioner - I now have a buy price ~ around $1 per or under cuz over the past year or so, it seems like MM and FREE has been rare ... It seems like I just have to get some every couple of months - as we share the stockpile with family members. Razors - I haven't really been buying lately, as I have enough to last me a while now. BUT last week, during Friends & Family @ Wags, Fusion was .49 per after F&F/Q/RR - sooo, I bought some and immediately used the RRs for Cottonelle (2.25 per after disc / MQ / IVC) ... I couldn't resist getting the razors @ .49 per, cuz I haven't seen razors for FREE / MM here lately.

i understand your thoughts! I was just going threw my stockpile the other night and was thinking how there has not been a toothbrush or toothpaste deal in the last few months (since you couponed) my recent deals are shampoo and conditioner MM out the zing yang, and mouthwash. Which both were hard to come by back in dec when the toothbrushes and toothpaste were free/mm. I'm still in my first yr of couponing so I will need to observe the say cycles more (: hth
btw i started couponing off the show too! a friend and i did it togther and she quite but i was wayyy to addicted by then and now shes jealous of all the free make up i get!! haha

I just started couponing in June. I already have (what I consider a stockpile) a ton of toothbrushes toothpaste razors and shampoo. I got most of the toothbrushes at riteaid when they were 2/4 and combined them with a 2/2 MQ and 2/2 RA q. And as for toothpaste it seems every week that someone has a deal. This week at RA they have Colgate on sale for 99 cents. Throw in a $1 coupon and its free! I just tend to get whatever's free. I personally don't go through a tube of toothpaste a week as its only me and my boyfriend so it adds up quickly.

I got (2) Herbal Essences about an hour ago @ Wags (2/$6, used $3/2 MQ and received 2 RR = .50 per) ~ like I really need more shampoo right now
- but SIL is telling me she needs 2-in-1's now ... and used the RRs for some Swanson's Chicken Broth. Uhhh my real goal this week - Chicken Broth it's on sale ... and to get the broth, I kinda see myself getting some more Herbal Essences.

Thank you guys for the response. The reason I posted this is because My boyfriend and I are really in need for toothbrushes. We are on the last set and I don't really want to buy it for not so good of a price. We don't have access to RA unfortunately, so just Walgreens and CVS
