When I first started couponing, I knew I wanted to focus on one drugstore. That is all I have time for and honestly all I can keep straight! I picked CVS, mainly based on the experiences I read on these boards. CVS seemed to typically be the most hassle free. I have shopped at CVS for over 2 years now and I could not be happier. I have never had an issue and I have shopped at 5 different CVS stores around me. Every cashier has been friendly and the scanner machine helps me to double check my deals before I check out. I have spent very little and have a great stockpile even with the weekly limits.

I like both but find more deals at CVS. It's harder to get free stuff at Wags in my opinion.

Who said nothing in life is free? Definitely not a WUCkie!

I prefer CVS. I used to shop at Walgreens but only because it was located on the corner of my street. I've moved since then and it's still closer than CVS but I get better deals and am willing to travel the extra 5 min to go to CVS. Plus I use Viggle and earn the free CVS cards all the time. My local Walgreens is a total p.i.t.a. The cashiers are absolutely friendly but completely coupon/policy deficient. Stock is limited because its a smaller store and the shelves are always cleared. Which, is one of the main reasons I love CVS. The limits may bother some people but for me, someone who normally doesn't get to the store til mid-week, it allows me to still snag some deals. Also, the new points system at WAGS did nothing for me. I think it's easy to understand but it just sorta turned me off. Idk why... However, I do think the grocery deals at WAGS (I live those in-ad coupons for the tomato paste and stock) tend to be better than CVS but CVS takes the cake in every other arena IMO.

I love cvs. I stopped going to wags after the balance rewards program came about. It sucks

Peace be with you

I prefer CVS over walgreens any day of the week. They have better deals and friendlier staff.

CVS. I don't even bother to check the Walgreen's ads sometimes. It's simply not worth a trip to get maybe one or two ok deals a week.

I prefer CVS and decided to boycott Walgreens since the last incident I had at one of their stores. I was totally disrespected and diminished by the store manager and she even offered me the Customer Service phone number when I told her I was going to call to complain about her unacceptable behavior. I called and waited for 2 weeks for a phone call but no one called. I posted a week ago on their fb page about my horrible experience and was promised to get a phone call in the next 2 days and nothing. It's obvious that they agree with that store manager so I won't go there anymore. When I had a problem with a CVS cashier last year, the district manager contacted me very fast and even gave me his cellphone number to contact him directly if I had any more trouble. That shows that CVS does Carr about customer satisfaction. Besides this, I find better deals at CVS. Walgreens has very few free/cheap deals, unlike CVS that has a lot more...

I shop strictly at CVS! I tried RA and Wags a few times, but it just wasn't worth it to me to be hasseled by their rewards programs which to me made shopping harder. I found that I can eventually get everything I need for my stockpile at CVS with their excellent sales, ECBs, big red machine, and the friendly staff. So I quit wasting my time and gas to chase all of the other drug store deals. More than half of my stockpile came from CVS. I don't do wally world either.
