Just a quick question: How long after an auction ends should a seller report no payment? I have an auction that ended 4/24/09 and they still haven't paid...what's the deadline? I've already sent her an invoice and contacted her through PM...kinda don't know what to do now...it's a lot of 120 coupons that expire 5/31/09, so I don't want to wait too long!

Did you state within your auction a payment deadline? Otherwise, and I could be wrong about this...isn't it 10 days?

I think it was 10 days also. Do you have a payment type on there like paypal only?

Yeah, I think since January 1st they've mandated that all payments must be made in paypal

Case type: Unpaid item



You can open an Unpaid Item case if you haven't received payment after 7 days from the end of your listing.

Once the case is open, we will send an email to the buyer requesting payment or a response within the next 7 days. We will also caution the buyer about the consequences of not paying for your item.

It is 7 days after the auction ends. After you file your unpaid item dispute is closed out, be sure to add the non-paying buyer to your block list.

How long to you can file an item not received?

I bought baby boy clothes on the 21st of April. I contacted the seller on the 25th to see when it was sent. She answered me: I was going to send it out today but decided to answer you, Is there something you need? Still no tracking number or anything from her.

My Ebay rating is over 1572 (100% positive), so I've done a lot of deals over the years. I always give the person past the 7 days before I leave negative feedback. You never know what may have happened, vacation, sickness, etc... Once you leave negative feedback, it's there. With that said, I would still re-list the auction if you wanted. I would just wait a little bit before leaving negative. Just my opinion though.

i put in all my ebay auctions they have 3 days to pay, and at 7 days i file the non-bidder. typically if they haven't paid, once they see the non -bidder they pay right away. If not, then they state they don't want it, i get the fees back, and relist the item.

for not receiving an item, i wait about 3 weeks. I will email the person at 2 weeks ,and see what they say to me about when it was shipped and a tracking number. if i get no answer from them, and nothing then i file through paypal a non-receipt of item. If they can't show a tracking number or anything, than we go from there and work out seomthing.
