Hi! Do you have a link to that policy? The same one linked in the FD Information Spot Sticky is what they have on their website. Thanks for the HU!

From other posts I've read they do, but you cannot have a zero balance and receive another Family Dollars. There are some posts in the ONYO thread that give some great rolling scenarios. Check those out! http://www.weusecoupons.com/upload/f...llar-onyo.html

Sorry I took so long to respond. I didn't check this thread again til now after my last comment. The updated policy probably wasn't available on the website yet when I mentioned it.

I have a senario that gave me over 20 minute trouble at register last thurs. so frustrated I left with coupons in hand.
glade sprays were 3.00 each I had bought 4 used 2 bogo coupons and then .50 off any glade product for the 2 i paid for and it would not take it after 2 clerks and many ppl behind me getting mad for waiting. they voided whole order and started over ringing product then coupon then product then coupon etc...still didnt work. oop over 20.00 and I left with my 2 .50 coupons in hand because they didnt know what to do. so frustrated

While the FD coupon policy doesn't state that you can't use cents off coupons with BOGO coupons, if the BOGO attaches to both items you're out of luck with the cents off. You could try having them scan the cents off coupons first and then the BOGO coupons. Sorry it was so frustrating for you!

I'm venturing into FD to learn their coupon policy and how to strategize my shopping trips. Here is my question....

If FD advertises Buy item A and get item B free, can you use a coupon on item B? Do they apply overage to your total purchase?

I'm nit sure on this one. I don't think the Q policy prohibits it, but I'm uncertain as to how the register rings it. The policy does say that a coupon will be adjusted down to the value of the item (as it is rung) so they don't really allow for overage.

Is there a limit to how many of the same coupons I can use in one trip? I didn't see it addressed in the policy, just wondering if it's a coupon with no limit.

No limit that I know of according to the policy. It is probably up to the store.
