I know we aren't getting these free with FLIPs, but none the less we are getting them free at Food Lion either now or starting Friday, so here are two recipes:

Monkey Bread:
1 cup of sugar
2 T Cinnamon
3 cans (7.5 oz each) (OR 4 OF THE SMALL CANS) biscuits
1 stick of butter (I am going to use my free Smart Balance from a while back and see how that tastes)

Mix Sugar and Cinnamon in plastic bag. Cut biscuits into quarters. Shake 6 to 8 pieces at a time in the cinnamon sugar mixtrure. Place biscuit pieces in greased 10 Cup bundt pan.

Mix leftover cinnamon sugar mixture with melted butter. Pour over biscuits

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown. GET ON THE TREADMILL, UNTIL THEY ARE DONE. Cool in pan for 5 minutes invert and serve.

Cinnamon Twists:
Pull biscuits so they are oblong. Dip them in melted butter. Roll them in a Cinnamon/Sugar mixture. Twist and put on a cookie sheet and bake according to the biscuit directions. GET ON THE TREADMILL UNTIL THEY ARE DONE.

Both of these recipes will only cost me the cost of the sugar. Yippie.

I need a flip for a treadmill now darn it!

I've been using SB ever since I got a bunch free @ Kroger and it's pretty good. I haven't noticed a discinct difference between it & real butter in any of my recipes.

I make the Monkey Bread & it is great! The kids ask for it all the time.

This sounds wonderful!! I have everything to make this so will have to try it later, thanks!!
