For about the last year, I think about 75% of the milk that I buy from FL comes in a leaky container. It makes me SO mad. I pour my kids' milk in their sippy cups before they go to bed, and I see milk drops just pouring out of some hidden hole...it makes my floor smell like sour milk, and I always have this weird flaky "milk dust" for lack of better term at forms around the places where I keep my milk in my fridge. When I buy from anywhere else, I never have this problem. Am I the only one?

Funny you say this...just last week I bought only 1/2 gallon and it was leaky. I had to pour it into the container I had already opened (dumped out the old, put in the new)

I don't really buy milk from FL (its cheaper at kroger for me) but that is annoying! You should write to them and tel them!!

I know exactly what you mean about the 'millk dust' but I am not sure it is only from FL milk!

Choose Product Quality Complaint at the bottom then write in the space the problem with the leaky containers! If both of you in different locations complain, then they will see it is a problem. Could be the distribution center it comes from also but I have never had problems with the milk and I am in NC, too.

I always get our milk from foodlion and have never had a problem with leaky milk.

I've never purchased FL milk but I've had issues with the caps leaking on my Kroger milk when it turns on its side on the way home from shopping. That'll stink up your trunk in a heartbeat in this hot weather.

I haven't always had probs with it, just in the last couple of years. I think maybe the plastic they're using is too thin, just like when they over-recycle their bags. When I buy from HT, Sam's Club, pharmacies or even gas stations (though only when in a rush ) I never have any problems. The two stores in China Grove, NC are typically the only Food Lions I stop to buy milk at...I can't tell you how surprised I am that I'm pretty much the only one having this problem! I will email customer relations. I'm really glad HT has lowered their prices on milk here in the last few months, we don't have any Kroger's around me!

I only buy FL milk now if I see it marked down or if we just too tired to stop at another store. Our gas station/curb market has it for about .50 cheaper so we get it there! Hey, that is $1.00 a week savings for us!!!

I have never had problems with leaking, but have had "milk dust" on the container. We usually go through 2 gallons a week. Maybe you just don't know your own strength when you are slinging the container around!!
