Glad to see you were in our neck of the woods. Now you see from our perspective in the Land Of No Doubles how difficult it is too work deals in our grocery stores. We get the price on the shelf, have occassional blinkies, the coupons we bring in and that is all. I feel blessed by the coupon gods if I can get out of there with 50% savings. I will admit that when they have a deal they really have a good deal but they are few and far between. I am seeing more store coupons in their ads so maybe they are going to be a little more deal friendly. I will give them this, they did have purex detergent on sale a few months back for $2.99 for a 100 load bottle no limits with a coupon for $2.00 off for it. I managed to stock up early in the morning before they imposed limits later in the day due to demand.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HyVee stores! :) I grew up in Iowa, where HyVee was a mainstay. Left there 25 years ago, but when we lived in Missouri in 2008, they had HyVee! :atnight: I was elated. The stores are always so well lit, clean, well-stocked, customer service was great, and the sale prices were unbeatable! I don't think I shopped at WM once, the year we lived there.

I'm bummed they don't have one here in Arkansas. :(

We live in Ohio, no Hy-Vee here. I like that they are employee-owned. The coupon policy sounds a little tricky.

Love the videos. Thanks!

You actually can use your uPromise card loaded with savings from both uPromise AND Saving Star at Hy-Vee for a loyalty-type card. Go to Customer Service and tell them you want the uPromise card. Them link your account with them at their web sites and every time remember to have the cashier scan your card.
Saving Star will pay out every time you reach $5. It's at least a little bit better than nothing.

I have found that I have been going to our Hyvee less and less since Wal*Mart PMs...so I can get the deals from both stores in one stop :)

Thanks for coming to the Mid-west..Hy-vee has had great sales lately, I do PM with walmart and for the most part my Hyvee is coupon friendly. I hope sometime soon they will begin to double.
