Default Would it be worth my time?

I am new to the stockpiling aspect of this but with the weather being as nice as it is here and us being as strapped for cash as we are this week(literally dh got paid and its all gone, no savings, no cc's to use nada) I figured it wouldnt hurt to try a sale. Mostly what i have is
HE Shampoo, Conditioner, Styling products
Glade out the wazoo-tins from targets first tin deal, all the holiday stuff, glass holders, refills spray and sense, jar candles
Airwick large i motions and compact imotions in the spray and scented oils
SNUGGLE
Toothpaste
Razors
like 100 Febreeze to go
Rolaids
Halls and Ricola
Kotex pads
Deodorant
Trial sized Razors
Some dove products mostly deodorant and soap 6 packs

food items
Tons upon tons of carnation evap milk
Krusteaz pancake mix
Hormel chilli
BC Potatoes

Would it be worth my time? In your opinion w/ your own past experiences should i even bother. i mean 20$ would be better than nothing right now because thats gas til next pay check.

Also If i were to do this what is the best way on such short notice. my street has very heavy traffic levels so i know it will be seen. How much change would be a good amount to start? and any suggestions for prices would be awesome too. I normally would not just throw something together in less than 24 hours but its either this or god only knows what.

Any help suggestions etc would be great! please!!! and thanks in advance

I've heard a lot of people say to advertise on craigslist. State what you have at your sale, it might bring even more people in!

I did this the other week! I actually was wanting to sell some of my baby items - 2 cribs, bed rails, a playpen, a boppy pillow, 2 awesome highchairs, and I thew some of my stockpile stuff out there to see what would happen. I am here to say that I did NOT sell 1 single item of the above listed baby items, but I made almost $300 in stockpile stuff, and then I threw it out again the next weekend, and same thing - no baby stuff went, but almost $250. And if you look at my stockpile, you can't even tell anything is gone!!! =) I posted on craigslist and then put out some neon pink posterboard signs directing people, but we are not on any heavy traffic road - we are a dead end street at the back of a neighborhood. SOOOOOO, I would say. . . . . . . WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????!!!!! MONEY IS MONEY!!! GO MAKE SOME!!!! =) I am now hooked. I would say since I didn't really advertise it a stockpile sale, it was the bigger items that brought people in to look, but once they were here, they were grabbing toothpaste, soup, and RAZORS - they were all gone!!!! Couldn't sell hair color or glucose meters to save my life, though! Good Luck with it, and let us know how it goes!!!!

I had tons of baby stuff to sell and thank god i didnt since i know have an almost 4 month old! if i could make even 50 dollars it would be so relieving. and like i said 20 would get my dh to work for two weeks. I guess i will try it! I will spend the rest of the night getting ready for it watch it will rain me out...thats how my life seems to be going right now. I have found a few more things in the meantime so that makes me happy too.

Go for it! I would say have lots of quarters and ones as far as change goes, kind of hard to do when you're strapped for cash, but the best you can. Put up a couple signs by the road and def put it on craigslist. Lots of times people come to look at big things and then arrive and are like, "oh, hey I can use some of that too." Any money made is just that and although it takes some time, the cash will def come in handy this week. Moonflower once mentioned putting things at 1/2 their retail price. I would go $4 on razors if they are like venus etc and toothpaste at $1. I don't have alot of the other stuff but I sold the crap out of toothpaste the last time I tried. Good luck ... I hope you make some cash for the the next week!!!

Will do. I have only been stockpiling for a few months though so if it all sells i will be back to nothing. hey i will take nothing and some cash over alot and no money. I have almost zero oop with this stuff so it will basically be all profit.
