Scolded on another forum!
I am SO mad and hurt at the same time. I'm a member of various coupon forums and just got scolded in a pm by one of them.
After I read how much Moon (is that right?) made on her stockpile sales last year, I decided I wanted to start stockpiling so that I can have a sale in the spring. I submitted a thread to this other forum asking what I types of products I should be looking for this time of year and mentioned that I wanted to sell them. I got a pm from a moderator with the title in all caps stating they do not sell! The purpose of the site is to stockpile for charity. Well e x c u s e me!! My family is on Medicaid, WIC, and food stamps. And we still can't keep our heads above water. We've been recipients of donations from out church's food ministry. I don't see the harm in using my new found education in couponing ( I like to think of it as my job; other than raising our 14 month old daughter) to stockpile and sell the items to make some $$ to help us. I plan to give back to the church as well, but that wasn't the focus of my post. Am I wrong to be offended?

I am so sorry another site said that to you! I can only say that you need to focus on what is right for you and your family. WUC encourages you to stockpile and sell if that is what you choose to do. Giving away to Charity is nice to, but no one here is going to treat you like that because you want to stockpile for cash. That is one of our rules in this forum - There is no chastising or critizing of what other members do and their motives behind it. If you ever need any help here I will more than happy to help you in any way I can. I too..had another site treat me in a negative light on this very same subject. I swore that no one would ever feel this way on WUC and I meant it. You've got me curious which site you are talking about. I belong to another and it's getting ridiculous the rules, regulations and the formatting of deals you have to do. The latest rule is you can't talk about God. There are so many people that are thinking of leaving the site and heading here that wuc could be getting a deluge of new members.
Sorry you had to experience that frustration but you are at a good site now who's members don't bicker and fight at every turn and you can relax and be yourself.

 I'm sorry that site made you feel bad. Honestly, there is NOTHING wrong with what you are wanting to do. People that feel the need to sit in judgement of others are clearly not charitable...no matter how much of their stockpile they donate.If you have questions..please feel free to ask them here at WUC. We have a bunch of really great SUPER stockpilers that would be happy to answer your questions. I would be hurt too! Is it sooo wrong for wanting to make a little money from money we have saved? I bought some of the meters last week with the coupon, making $5 RR at Wags. I have donated 3 to my kids' school (all the nurse said she would need) and still have 17 left! I am keeping 2 (have to check my dd sometimes) and giving 2 to my mom. But heck, if I can sell the rest, why not? I am a single mom of 2 kids who does not get a lot in child support, works full time, and works VERY HARD at saving as much money as possible when grocery shopping. And your stockpiling and having a sale where it is LESS than retail you will actually help others! I am someone that could benefit from a sale like that! I do not qualify for any assistance, yet coming across a sale like this would BENEFIT me. I do not qualify for food pantries, etc. Is it wrong for me to benefit? Can only a charity (who does not help everyone) be the recipient? I say stockpile, have a sale, make some $$, and help some of the people just on the fringe of getting any other assistance. Saving money with coupons is not easy and does take work, a lot of work, effort, time, persistence, etc.
I say go for it!!!
