I have done the flea market every time I have sold my stockpile due to the fact that we are "off the beaten path" and don't have success with yard sales. I have always done very well there! It may be useful to go ahead of time and see what others that are selling similar items have them priced at. I always priced lower or the same as others selling the same items, so I stay fairly busy when there. I will say a lot of my customers have been vendors from other booths

(which can be somewhat annoying when you know they are buying them and going to just jack up the prices at their own booths)! Bring someone with you to help with the booth if you need to run and get something to eat, use the bathroom, etc. It would be hard to do alone unless you make friends with neighboring booths. Also, I don't price individual items. I will usually either leave the like items in a box (such as shampoo, conditioner, stylers) or set them out on the table and then just make a price sign and tape to the front of the box or table. Much easier than pricing every item! And if I have to put several items at different price points in the same box, I will just make a larger sign listing them like this:
Shampoo/Conditioner
$1.50
Lotions
$1.00
Bodywash
$2.00
etc.
I have found that leaving the items in boxes helps due to people bumping into the table and such. If you have the items just set out, sometimes there can be a domino effect when something gets knocked down

! If I am using deep boxes though, sometimes I will set out just a few items so people will know what I have to sell. Also, leave yourself a little negotiating room on your pricing for people buying in bulk. I usually price my shampoos at $1.50, but if someone is buying 10 of them, it's not going to kill me to let them have them for $1.00 or $1.25. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me or ask here. I'll try to remember to check back

.
For those of you wondering about booth prices, you will just need to check with your local flea market. The prices may be different depending on if it is indoors or outdoors, how large/popular the flea market is, etc. Here, the price for an outdoor covered booth is $10. That includes about a 10 x 10 area (totally guessing here!) with 2 tables (one along the front and one down the side). We also have to pay for a monthly sales tax thing which is $5 for the month. So if you have to pay for something like that, it may be worth it to try to go more than once during the same month (although, with the low cost of it, you probably don't need to worry about it since you will most likely make enough your first trip to pay for it

). And also, if you can get a booth that is at a flea market that is either covered or indoors, don't worry about the weather! I have had great success even on horribly rainy days

! Good luck and hope you do well and sell lots!
