Hi,

I spoke with a very nice lady in customer relations for H-E-B. She said they are not allowed to issue a formal coupon policy, but that they do have one that is for internal use only. She read the basic rules to me and they are as follows...

• H-E-B accepts manufacturer coupons, but you are not allowed to combine a manufacturer coupon with an H-E-B coupon, you can only use one or the other. You are not allowed to "stack" coupons.
• H-E-B does not double or triple coupons.
• H-E-B does accept internet printable coupons as long as it has "manufacture coupon" on it, the manufacturer's information listed on it, and as long as the coupon scans. They will NOT manually enter an internet coupon.
• H-E-B does not accept expired coupons.

Please be aware that their "policy" is just a guideline and the individual store's management can make the final decision on their store's policy regarding coupons.

I had no idea they did not accept both store and manufacturer!

It's because their "store" Q's are manufacturer Q's. They do have some, which I've never seen, but supposedly..there are some marked with a tiny little "S" on the coupon..these are store coupons and can be "stacked". Honestly though, I've never seen any of these.

Some stores have been known to allow this, but it's strictly a "managers" choice. It is not the norm, and since they've gotten more and more into couponing (ie. their printable Q's online) they are getting much stricter with what they do accept and do not accept.

I mean the Yellow paper Deal Ones. Those are for HEB products most of the time...
I had them beep on the HEB Chili one!! NO, I did not use a MANUFACTURER coupon on YOUR HEB chili...

They do say do not combine with any other "offer" but I don't see a COUPON as an offer...
I see it as a COUPON...

Anyhoo. I got in got out and won't be back in awhile!

Thank you for the info.....I am new to this site, and seemto be understanding well. I will share this website with the playgroup I am with. Lots of parents out here wishing they could catch a break or two :-)
