Central Market anyone?
Does anyone here shop at Central Market*? I know you are probably thinking I am crazy for bringing up HEB's fancy gourmet counterpart, but you can find deals there! Specifically on spices and other bulk foods.
Spices are REALLY cheap. You package them yourself and b/c they are priced by weight, you get them really cheap. I've gotten stacks of bay leaves for $0.05, bags of oregano, basil, parsely, cinnamon, etc, enough to fill up a bottle that would usually cost $4, for $0.50 or less. If you are ever near a Central Market, go check it out! *Central Market is HEBs version of Whole Food or Trader Joes. A gourmet foodie store. A lot of fun but can be pricey and addictive if you don't know the ins and outs! WUC Moderator

I'm wondering if the one in Woodway is a Central Market?

There are HEBs that have bulk sections. I think most Plus stores do (well, I know the one in Pearland does!). It is any store that has a bulk section will have them.
I think while some stores sell the Central Market brand, the actual Central Market stores are in big cities. There is 1 in Houston, 2 in Austin, Ft. Worth, Plano, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. If you have never been to one, GO! It is a foodie heaven! WUC Moderator

Does your store have a points program? The one in Woodway does..but I know nothing about it. I need to look in to it.

I LOVE Central Market. I live in PA...but when we go to Houston each summer this is my first stop! I love their prepared food section and walking aimlessly around "sampling" everything! I can't wait to take my son this summer... to see all the fish
 Little things amuse him...and we don't have fish/lobsters really in our stores like they do!! Jayden and  Tyler, Wife to  Chad, and Teacher to a  of 6th Graders!

They were pushing the point program on Sunday.
