Hmmm, maybe I'll try to get a new HT card today and see what happens.

Actually, it does. During a recent triples, I accidently used 23 coupons and the last three did not triple. I would think it would be easy to program the system to only allow a certain number of q's per card per day. Store #1 would have access to the same info that store #2 does. I'd think that they would combine all cards with the same address into one account. The cards might have different numbers but they could still be linked and the 20 coupon limit checked automatically. I mean, the cs person basically said so. "Go ahead and get as many cards w/the same address as you want"....because they'll still be able to limit the number that are tripled or doubled.

As a former programmer, they absolutely can and do tie things in to the number and address. It's a very simple process and I'm sure they've finally figured out a simple few lines of code could take care of this.
At any rate, this is their corporate coupon policy and should be followed - not tried to work around. Last edited by CajunCouponQueen; 06-18-2009 at 02:23 PM. |

True, but it was corporate policy before and no one seemed to care - this isn't a new policy it is just that now they've figured out a way to enforce it and decided to implement it. |

The difference, Moggy, is that now that HT is strictly enforcing their coupon policy WUC has to honor that as well and not promote ways to get around it.

I went today and couldn't find my card. I decided to just get another card since mine didn't have the key ring ones. When I asked for the card, the person at customer service asked for my ID. They now have to verify the address on all new cards as well as put part of your DL# on the form before they can activate the card.
