Was curious if anyone had heard anything about this. Yesterday I was extremely confused when I went to purchase a few items and noticed my coupons didn't double properly. I had a $0.70/1 coupon for Uncle Ben's rice, and found a box on clearance for $1.19. On my receipt it rang up my coupons as Scanned coupon $.70, multiplied coupon $.49 (21 cents shorter than it should be).
Today I went to use two coupons I had good for the B1G1 Mueller's spaghetti deal. I used a $1/1 and a $0.55/1. The bottom of my receipt reads as follows Scanned coupon 1.00- Scanned coupon .55- Multiplied coupon .14- The price of the deal is $1.79, getting one free, and my two coupons which should have resulted in -$0.31 overage, ended up being changed to exactly $1.79. I hadn't noticed any changes here to the HT coupon policy, so I was hoping someone with more experience could let me know if things have changed, or are planning to change! ETA: I'm in Salisbury NC EDIT: Thank you for clearing up everything, I don't think I was getting overages in the first place and just never noticed it until now :P Problem solved! My HT has never given overage. The only way it happened was if you had an e coupon and a paper coupon and even then it was if you are lucky. Not giving overage is nothing new in my area. Sorry.

Thanks for the response, I'm not 100% sure that they were giving overages now since most of the coupons as I'm still fairly new to this game. Most of my coupons were during triples week, so I wasn't getting free products. But I feel like they were applying overages at my store before :P

My HT, in Fay, NC, has never given overage. the coupons were always only doubledu p to the price of hte product. The only time I've seen overage with them is when you have a E-Coupon plus a paper MQ.

It's in the policy that there is no overage applied from coupons, that all coupons will be adjusted to the selling price of the item. Overage only seems to happen with the evic ZVR coupons, and give them time, they'll catch on and stop it too. Their computers are pretty darn smart.
