I stopped last night and got the following in 2 trannies.

18 pop tarts
4 nutri grain bars
1 tube of ground chuck
hamburger buns
loaf of bread

I spent 11.25 on both transactions and still have a 10 cat to play with today. I went a little over but a girl needs some supper.

I was going to wait for my ordered coupons to arrive before I started but dh had a bad day yesterday, so I scrounged up some to get the $10 OYNO so I could get some nice steak and surprise him.

I did:
6 Poptarts $1.19ea
2 Nutrigrains $1.59ea
2 Corn pops $1.59ea
- 3x $1/2 poptarts
- 2x $.75 nutrigrains
- 2x $.70 kellogg's blinkie
OOP: $6.10 +tax, Get: $10 OYNO

He loves steak, especially Angus, so I thought I'd splurge and get him some Angus NY Strip steak, usually $10.99/pd, but HT has it on sale for $6.99/pd. I also got something else but I only paid $0.19 +tax for both.

I seasoned it a little, did a nice pan searing with a little wine, and served it with brussel sprouts and mash potato. I think it did the trick . Thank you for the nice dinner, Kellogg's!

BTW:
For my ordered coupons, planning to do 5 transactions:

2x Nutrigrain
8x Poptarts
- 2x $.75 off nutrigrain
- 4x $1/2 poptarts
OOP: $5.70 +tax

and planning to roll the $10 OYNO on 4 similar transactions with meat/produce to make the $4.30 difference. So, hopefully by the end, I would have ... lots of poptarts .

I know, I can't wait for my coupons to arrive, it was the first day of the sale yesterday and already the shelves are a little picked over. A little reminder; try to remember to score some rainchecks out of the 50% deals, I know I'm going to. You should be able to, right?
