I did good yesterday got a 1.5 gallon palm, planter to go with it, 3 10lb bags of 7dust, all for $21.00.

My mom was excited about the palm I got her. It as huge. They had to scan my coupons by hand It looked like I just got the 7 dust that cheap, never showed I even used coupons. Going back for more at my lunch break, they are excepting offers on the big stuff, for cheaper that the sale price. They told me they sold a out door fountian for $30.00 and original price was $115.00. I said I will be back tomorrow with my check book in hand. I am glad I got paid today!!!!

Most store coupons state "not valid with any other offer or discount". Most stores are willing to adjust for someone who asks nicely, otherwise they follow the policy. Kindness goes a long way! Unfortunately the items they have that can be matched with coupons have higher prices to begin with in my area.

And... make sure you never buy (ebay) those 20% off home depot coupons to use at Lowe's. They are fake and stores will not accept them.

My fiance worked at Lowes for a really long time and she says that no a GC cannot be cashed out as cash, they will only use it as store credit.

She has also informed me that cashiers will call to make sure coupons are valid. They'll take Menards, Ace, Home Depot and any other local hardware store in the area. Within a certain radius.

Harbor Freight often has 20% off coupons. Has anyone had luck using those?
