We used to have a shelved area filled with clearance products...gone! Has this happened in anyone else's local CVS? I liked being able to go to one section to see what they had on clearance

This happened in all of my stores a while back. Instead of one clearance area stuff is now left in it's home with clearance tags. Harder to find, but it's less messy I guess.

I noticed that here in Louisiana. Didn't know if it was a general thing or regional because in Florida they had everything in one section... I guess it's better for them because everything is well organized and they don't need to be moving everything all over. The only thing is that I noticed they usually don't put the clearance tags. If it were not for everyone posting their clearance finds, I'd not be aware of that. Takes more time too cause I have to scan every item and not all the time it's on clearance...

YES, not only my CVS but my Wal greens as well. I will say tho, I like it better. Yes, it is harder to find, but at least they don't mark through the barcode now. They did when they had a special spot for clearances, andd therefore, couldn't use coupons on anything clearanced. At least now, I can get a better deal by using coupons!!

They have been doing this in my area for a while now. It is hard to find things, but I always find good deals on there and then go look for them at my store!

and am always looking for the next deal!

My CVS has never had a clearance section since I've been shopping there. lol

The stores here used to keep endcaps towards the back of the store full of clearance items. They quit that about 9 months or so ago though My favorite store tends to pull things that are 75% off and put them on a cart near the registers though.

I see that many want to be like Jenny. Jenny is great, sure .. but, I want to be like DIDIE!

The stores here all have endcap clearance sections, however, a couple of months before Christmas, every year, they disappear because of the vast amount of extra holiday merchandise they acquire that needs shelf space. All the stores in my area will return to having an endcap clearance within the next month or so. Although what I am used to seeing is that clearance products usually remain on the shelf until they need to occupy that space with something else or new product at which time they move whatever is left to the endcap.

Of the 3 stores near me none of them has a clearance specific area.

My store doesn't have a special clearance shelf. They leave clearanced items in place or put the items in a shopping cart at the front of the store.
