I always use vinegar in place of fabric softener for my bath and dish towels. It works great; doesn't cause the towels to lose their absorbency the way regular softener does, and costs a lot less!

I just started using it with baking soda and it works GREAT on the toilets and sinks!!!

Do you think it would work good to clean a bathtub? I've been looking for a good way to clean...i've noticed soap scum down the side of the tub where the bar soap sits.

I keep a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar & water in the kitchen for wiping down the countertops and stovetop. I like that it's nontoxic, wipes out smells and it's something we eat. Basically, my kiddo's like to put everything in their mouths, this is just BETTER & SAFER!

Mom used to put in cool water and let us sit in it when we had a sunburn to take the sting away. I always felt like I smelled like a salad when she did that!

My nanny would put it straight on the sunburn, it takes the heat out of it so you don't blister as badly...
